Take the time to read.

You will find much more information by searching and trying to understand, rather than ask a general, and annoying, question like that.

I can show you some headers that you have to cut the fender-wells out to use. I can show you some headers that will bolt in with out touching the engine.

he just asked a simple question...I wouldn't call that annoying at all....

anyhow redlightrunner, certain brands do require you to jack the engine up a little..you could do a search on SLP headers, Edelbrock, Hooker....whatever brand, to see how the installation is...

As said, it depends what set you want to install. Some can just be dropped in, some have to have the engine lifted a few inches, some have to go in from under the car.

What set were you asking about?

flanges suck and so does everything else about them but the price. you generally get what you pay for.

Axle/Gears: 4th Gen 10 bolt/Detroit TrueTrac 4.
flowtechs:
1. poor flange welds
2. warped flanges (on mine)
3. welds in bolt holes
4. small primaries
5. poorly connected primaries to collector
6. poorly cut primaries that merge into collectors
7. poor coating (many headers are like this except the hooker super comps my dad just bought for his cyclone)
8. warped collector plate thinger mabober

Positives for flowtechs:
1. price
2. fit
3. price

my over all experience is bad/good 8/3. once i get the money i am swapping them out.

nope. if you are worried about heat them have the headers you buy jet coated. Header wrap tends to soak up oils that may inflame over time. but they never look as good as you think. they get real dirty real easily.

Not to mention traps moisture, progressing the oxidization of the steel.

Don't get the Flowtech headers. They are cheap, and prolly fit fine, but you'll be kicking yourself later if you want to get more power outta your mill.

Go with 1-5/8" headers, like from Hooker, Hedman, or SLP. You'll be much happier.
