what about a muffler right after the cat?
was running my car with after cat flange aomewhat loose, but now that i tightened it down it seems slower which leads me to wonder what would be the feasablilityof just putting a muffler and turn out right after my cat (or lack of one). also, what would fit. and would it be beneficial and how could i do it cheap?????? thanks

About the only thing that would fit would be something short and round or flat. There isn't much benefit.
Putting a Bullet muffler where the cat is supposed to be isn't too bad of an idea - except for the fact that it makes your car 50-states illegal.
