full 3" single exhaust

hey ya'll it's beena while since i posted here. I've got a carbed 383 in my 91 and I've had problmes running dual pipes(scraping them on the ground) and i was just wondering if a custom built full 3" single exhaust would flow as well as dual 2.5" exhaust.

A dual 2.5" will flow more. More pipe area. However, a single 3" can support 400 to 450hp before it becomes a restriction. You may benifit actually from improved scavaging if your motor is over "exhausted" right now.

i figured the duals flow better but i'm in need of convenience, the y scrape the ground everywhere i go and it's my daily driver.
