ok i wanna run no cats on my iroc because we dont have vehicle emmisions esin in kentucky anymore yeehaa so what will i need to take them off and dont i need to plug the o2 sensors or something:lala:

For the record: Removing the catalytic converter is illegal in all 50 states for vehicles operated on public streets and roads.

Now, the O2 sensor is nowhere near the cat, so that isn't an issue.

If you can't figure out from there how to remove the cat, you shouldn't be attempting it. Any shop that makes a living off of working on other people's cars can be heavily fined for doing it for you if the car is registered for street use.

It's not that big of a deal. My buddy has a 99 Stang GT with the off-road pro-chamber mid-pipe, and it passed emissions...Only because it's OBDII. As for removing the cat, cut about an inch away from each end of the cat and remove it...Then weld in some new pipe. I would personally just get a high-flow cat, or gut out the stock cat...But I have to pass the **** sniffer.
