flowmaster to hooker change

hey. Im runnin an american thunder flowmaster cat-back kit right now but from what ive heard hooker's aerochamber is a better (meaner) sounding exhaust. If i wanted to change over to a hooker aerochamber can i get the sound that hooker makes by just replacing the flowmaster muffler with a hooker muffler with the same inlet/outlet sizes or would i have to get a whole hooker cat-back kit?

You are correct. I would just start with a Hooker to begin with than to piece one together. The piping is basically the same with the mufflers being entirely different. They will control the sound for the most part.

EDIT: I re-read and notice that you have it already installed. You can just buy a Hooker aerochamber muffler and go from there.

I have a bone stock exhaust system on my car except for the Hooker Aero Chamber muffler.

I've ordered some headers and a banks cat-back so if you'd like to buy my muffler I'll sell it to you..
