Round canister style for true duals.
hey guys, hopfully this thread will answer some of my questions. ok ive been debating on making true duals for my car i know there has been a ton of info on the true dual word. but my question is if there are any companys that make a muffler that is a round canister style that is 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 in so that you could run true dual while retaining the mufflers and still sound good with good flow. i believe that this would be possible and still have adequate ground clearance. if any one has any info or pictures or sound clips especially on this it would be much appritiated. thanks

The only thing out there with the canister style and small diameter is the bullet style mufflers. I know guys run them and say they're not bad, but my expereince with guys that race using them, they are no better than open header.
Flowmaster came ouot with a new low profile muffler that is only 3" tall, but requires oval tubing inlet/outlet.
Standard case mufflers, Flowmaster has the thinest I found at only 4" so that's what I went with.

Yeah, the oval rought might be your best bet unless you wanna do some really createive stuff. Flowmaster and Spintech both make low profile mufflers.
