I am thinking of using late model tail pipe tips from an IROC. They are about 5-6 inches wide and about 1 1/2 - 2inhigh. Does anyone have something like this? I will use chrome. I have a 83 T/A that is so stock its a shame.

Are you refering to the LT1 style square tips? No 3rd gen came with rectangular style tips. However, these are commonly used on 3rd gens because they really match the overall "boxy" style these cars have. They typically come with either a 2.25" or 2.5" inlet so that they can be used on a wide variety of cat-backs. Try a search or two for "LT1 exhaust tips" or "4th gen exhaust tips" or along those lines to get a better idea of what they will look like.
