Opinions on Force II catback?
Dont know if this has been beaten to death here or not but...
Right now I have an OEM 2.25 in exhaust with a 2" I-Pipe from the cat back behind my vortec 350. Not good for performance obviously.
Like the title says, Im leaning towards a 3" force II to go behind my new 2055's. Really like the hideaway single exit.
How are these performance wise? Im expecting around 275-300 HP out of the motor once I pop the cork off. Will this be a reasonable match for what I currently have? Any hard data to back it up? Seems to me like it might be close to overkill but alot of people are of the opinion that flowmasters are lousy flowing rusty tin cans.

I had the 3" Force II kit....
....enjoyed the sound but the car felt as if a cat was slightly plugged. Kept the catback piping but subbed a Dynomax round muffler (not the glasspack-esque Bullet) and it was honestly like night and day. Everything but the Flow muffler itself is just fine.

hmmm...
How much power where you making?
I really like the idea of a hideaway exhaust, but dont have the time/skills to fabricate anything. Maybe another catback but I dont really care for the pseudo dual exits, or the high costs of some of the other kits.
Although at this time Im sure even a couple of soda straws from McDonalds would flow better.

L98 with mild boltons...
....Still has a hideaway, although I now recall buying a turndown from Dynomax to make it work. I'll keep this setup after the H/C/I as well, since I have seen cars with far more power running 3" all the way back from the cats.

I went ahead and bought it anyway. At $230 some odd dollars, its really the only complete 3" exhaust in my pricerange.
