i've been looking into a new exhaust system and stumbled onto a side pipe system, the look of these things is great but then i got thinking about how hard it could be, but i dinno thats why i'm here, does anyone have any experience in this and what do they sound like(the kind i'm looking into is Patriot shielded side pipes with glasspacked mufflers in them) ne info would be good?

my friend bought sidepipes for his 85 sport coupe camaro. They looked hideous on the car. He took it to the local exhaust shop and they wouldn't do the exhaust for the pipes. just my $.02 worth
