Header Coating
What is the specific name of the material that is sprayed on the headers to prevent rust?....about how much does it cost?...does it retain more heat than headers w/o the coating....any aditional info is appreciated...thanks

Good coatings cost between $150 and $200. They are worth their weight in gold. A ceramic coating keeps more heat into the header which keep your under hood temperatures down compaired to uncoated headers. Ceramic coatings also prevent rust and your headers will look brand new for years.

I just sent my Hooker 2055's to Jet-Hot. Cost me 183 including shipping back to me, and 19 bucks to ship it to them. Not too bad for something that will never come off, and lower my underhood temps. Well worth every penny.
