Is your 80 series the one that came with the catback? If so, I have a slightly different model. The sound clip in my sig "Listen to the exhaust" is with stock manifolds/Ypipe, and a Hi flow cat. The one that says "WOT" is with the headers/Ypipe/No cat. But everything I record with does not pick up the exhaust very well. It sounds a lot different in person.
What did you use to record? It sounds very clear.
hey! since u finally found this post, make it a sticky!! It would prevent people from making posts that say "how would this sound" or "what is the best sounding..."
PLZZZZ theres so many clips here, u can let this thread fade away
im begging

Here is my 89 RS, with an open element, and a high flo-cat. Thats is it but it sounds pretty cool. It's my bro standing on the sidewalk and I'm pushn' it.

I've live in Noblesvile, which is about 15 miles north of Indianapolis. I was suprised too when I listened to it I didn't think a car with so little mods could sound so cool.
