cats in cali
do we need cats in california ? why cant we just put a stright pipe instead of the cat? And can we run true duals in california? people say that you cant because you cant relocate the cats is this true?

Cats are necessary to pass emissions, especially in a strict place such as CA. Also, I believe its a large federal fine if you run your car without one. Severly modified exhaust isn't allowed in alot of states (probably CA as well) although I can't tell you the specifics.
