a/c bracket and alt. bracket location, when using hooker 2055's
i had an idea for a solution regarding the two brackets,i figure if you reverse the two brackets, switch there sides and bolt them horizontally to the side wheelwells, that would give them the needed support, and do away with long studs and spacers, i measured both brackets and if you switch one to one side and put the other one on the other side, you can bolt them right to the inner wheelwells, that way i dont have to mess around with my new breslins that cost me 47.00 to buy,i can just bolt down my headers, then bolt down the brackets to the wheelwells horizontally and out of the way, think it will be sturdy enough, bolting them the other direction and not toward the motor?there seems to be a concern about mods when installing these hooker 2055's,like iam geeting ready to do myself,i think it should work, need feedback'' cuda69

Back from the dead...
Did this work? I just installed my hooker 2055's yesterday with Brelin bolts too, my friend said we need to so something about those braces / brackets or it will bread the other ones... anyone else had problems, ??
Raf
I thought aboout this, when the engine twist, it woudl rip these out of the fenter, that'y why they're on the engine (close your eyes and see!)...
So what do you do, get some new studs from hooker, etc???
