dual cat single catback

i was just wondering if your guys happened to know what it takes to fabricate a single cat designed catback to fit onto a dual cat system because the only dual cat system i can find right now is flowmaster and ive got mixed feelings about flowmaster

Any cat-back will work but you will have to do some fab work where the cat-back meets the cats. This will require a little cutting and welding. I have never shopped for a dual cat cat-back but have you checked Hooker, SLP, magnaflow, random technology, banks, or edelbrock? I think one of those has a dual cat option. You may want to cosider going with a large single cat in place of your dual cats. If you plan on headers in the future this can be a more cost effective way of doing it all the while increasing your exhaust brand options without limiting performance.

I have shopped around and the only dual cat catback I could find was flowmaster and I am looking for something with a little more original sound such as gmmg or banks. On switching to the single cat thing I would just rather keep em as they are and put two high flows in their place, edelbrock and hedman both make dual cats headers so I am alrite in that area.

Shifty is correct. The single cat back will work but the muffler shop may have to add a piece of pipe or maybe cut it back. Don't let that stop you as it is an easy fix. Dual cats are the way to go for performance.
