i currently have a 1985 firebird 305 4bbl and i have flowmaster 80 series and its to quiet, i found a site that sells the loudmoulth resonater could i buy it and hook it up to my car if there is even space and disconnect the flows or could i hook it up to the flows also don't know if that would sound any good though whats your guys oppinion.

 

I think you would be better off by getting a flowmaster super 40 series muffler if you want your car to be louder and sound good because resonaters usualy make your car a little quieter

 

they don't make a 40 series i went to many muffler shops the only other muffler i could go with is the force thunder series which is only 1 outlet and i like duel looks nice, im trying to keep it legal but i might just take the cat off n put a straight pipe in it cheaper and will sound great but i don't wat a ticket so thats y i am trying to see what my options are. im trying not to spend any money really at all so thats y i want to take off cat doesnt cost anything

 

do you have access to a welder? if so carefully cut the top of the cat off and take all of the catalyist material out. then weld the top of the cat back on and put it in the car.

but if you have E check then i wouldnt recomend that.

 

i probaly do have one but i never seen it come on even when i start my car i own a 1985 firebird v8 4bbl and its the weak 302 140hp stock lol. maby you can tell me if it does have it in it
