Magnaflow A Real Muffler
I have had the Magnaflow 12909 muffler on order for my Mufflex 3.5" cat back since they showed up in the catalog. Well it showed up at the door today and looks wise it puts the other 3.5" mufflers I have to shame. I can gaurantee there is no restiction with this one.
The Hooker Aerochamber 3.5" muffler makes a right turn soon after the entrance to the muffler and then another turn into a much smaller hole than 3.5"
The 3.5" Spintech muffler that came with the Mufflex kit is not of the straight through design and has weird shaped curved metal pieces in it.
Right now I'm a happy camper and I will let you know how it sounds. Right now it has the Aerochamber muffler on it and is on the loud side for my tastes.
The below times were run with the SLP 3" system.

Update. Had Dyno Don install the 3.5" Magnaflow muffler. It is a lot quieter than the 3.5" Hooker and the 3" SLP mufflers that had previously been on the car. It is exactly what I was looking for in a muffler. Quiet with excellant performance. I'm one happy camper.

I'd like to know how it sounds compared to the flowmaster. I'v been thinking about going with a magnaflow muffler.
