Sounds good... hooker is definately a lot louder/aggressive though. I reccomend hooker cat-backs 24/7. The best I've heard IMO

I agree with the above, sounds like a Flowmaster. The hooker setup is much better sounding, in my opinion.

Thx guys......its a Borla muffler.

I just didn't want to spend the money on it if it sounded the same. Im gonna def buy the Hooker since im hearing from alot of people that it has a great tone to it.

It'll look like this.

Hooker 2055's Ceramic Coated w/o AIR
Catco Cat 3"in
Hooker Cat

I wouldn't switch unless you've heard a hooker system in person and just love it over what you've got. That sounded nothing like a flowmaster and sounded great to me.

I've had a hooker catback on my 87, and a flowmaster setup on my 86 and while I would recommend the hooker system anyday to most, you're already got a great sounding setup and may be disappointed in the money and effort expended for just a change in the sound... And it may turn out you prefer the Borla's sound...

The good thing is that nothing is welded so after I get the Hooker headers installed and run the hooker exahust I can always go back. Ive also got a Flowmaster 80 series that I switch every now and then.

Out of Hooker and SLP, Hooker is the cheapest mistake to make even though I may change my mind and get SLP when its all said and done.
