Basically right now my exhaust system is as follows:

Heddman 68470s
Heddman y-pipe, mod'd for true single 3"
3" test pipe
3" walker I-pipe
3" walker over-axle pipe
3" dynomax super turbo

So, basically I was thinking about clamping most of it together with butt and lap joint clamps, if I never need to take it off. I dont wanna use u-bolts because for me to get it to seal properly, it usually ends up crimping the pipe making it impossible to get off. But I started thinking, other than the test pipe, would I really need to take any of the exhaust off? Basically the i-pipe and over axle pipe. Im just wondering if overall it would be better to weld it all up rather than spending $8.50 a pop on freakin clamps.

You can clamp it if you need to temporarily, however I would STRONGLY recommend you get it welded.
