Something comparable to SLP

I've got the SLP 2OTL side exhaust on my Formula. Recently,I've been considering going back to the traditional duals look but would like to keep the sound and characteristics of the SLP muffler. I've used a few different brands in the past and at this point don't want to use them again such as Flowmaster and dynomax. My other choice is a little over the top but I'm willing to try it if all else fails. That option would be to keep the SLP muffler and get the needed tubing to run a tailpipe from the left side around the muffler and out the passenger side. I have seen this on the Magnaflow website and think it will do the trick but wanted to get a few opinions and thoughts first.

I would look at the Hooker Aerochamber cat-back.

Another vote for Hooker mufflers. They sound awesome and perform very well too!

Check Ebay, you can usually get a new SLP oem piece for the LS1 SS cars for around $100 - $150. They are all stainless. They even have stainless tailpipes, but are bent at obscure angles requiring the SLP Dual-Dual Tips if you dont want crooked tips.

I say go for it if you dont like the look. Would be easy to do and i dont see how it would hurt performance much. Have the shop cut and reweld the tip so it matches.

IM installing this same system on my car right now, with a cutout for the track. Havent had a chance to fire the car yet. But i love the quality of SLPs catback. Should sound good with a big inch sb pushing thru it.
