Hooker 2210's Mufflex Y-Pipe 4" Borla
It's finally done! What do you guys think? Exhaust system consists of:
1. Hooker Supercomp Ceramic Coated Headers #2210
2. Mufflex Y-pipe #TPIY-O2
3. Custom 4" Exhaust done by Mufflex Performance
4. Borla XR-1 Sportsman Muffler #40948

I love the sound!!! Throttle response is a whole lot better, and it's instant! If anything I gianed more torque according to my butt dyno (anytime it downshifts to first gear from a cruise, the a$$ end is all over the place). I previously had 1 5/8" SLP shorty headers and Borla cat-back on a nitrous cam (a lot of lift and duration on the exhaust lobe) and AFR heads. It was obviously killing me. I ran open headers (SLP set up) at the track and it was consistantly 3 mph and 3 tenths of an improvement. We'll see how it does this year with the new exhaust set up.
IROCThe5.7L, wish I could get you to host the file but it's like 21MB's. Thanks though........btw, how do you get the file to be under 5mb's???

sounds good....especially when you were smoking the tires. I bet it sounds even better at w.o.t. going down the road.

Does anyone have a similar set up or sound clip with a Dynatech Split FLow, Dynomax Ultraflow, or a Magnaflow Straight-thru muffler??

I did everything up to and including the y-pipe. Mufflex Performance Exhaust Systems did the rest.
