corvette lt1 manifolds on thirdgen?
Right now I have some hedman longtubes but they leak and I'm looking for a better solution. Also another problem is finding some headers with the d port exhaust flanges. I found corvette lt1 manifolds that have the d port style, but will they fit? I'm sure the manifolds will bolt up but will it clear the crossmember if you bent a mounting pipe?

Hedman makes a set of 3rd headers with d-ports. You can also use SLP shorty 1-3/4 and some run Hooker 2055's. A quick search should give you more answers. To my knowledge vette manifolds will not work because of the collector location (right down the side of the motor which leaves no room for a y-pipe).

Corvette manifolds dump in the middle IIRC, so they will not work, as you have a chassis directly under there.
