i have been searching for days but i cant figure it out...i want a new exhaust sytem and it has to be 3 in or there is no point for me to get a new system the thing im having trouble is finding a 3in y pipe right now i have headman headers and flowmaster exhaust with out a cat. i wanna make it a 3 in y pipe and 3in exhaust system. i cant find any 3in exhaust systems and i want it to be LOUD. i was looking at the SLP loud mouth and was wondering how to modify it to work with a 3rd gen. i was also looking at the flowmaster y-collector, i could cut off the y on my headman y pipe and weld this in place to make it 2.5in out to 3in...would that work?

 

yea, buy the hedmann y-pipe, chop it at the y, and get a 3" 90* bend, and some 3" pipe, and put it together.

 

i already have the headman pip so i jsut need the flowmaster y-converter thing...as far as exhast whats a good sounding 3in system?

 

I thought you already had a flowmaster 3" system without cat? Done.
