And your first priority was a catback system...what would you do to a bone stock 305tbi?
Just looking for opinons, I was planning on buying the GMMG, but my dad has kind of talked me out of it... looking for ideas on where to spend the extra cash if i go a diffrent route. Im looking for a clean sound with a nice idle.

Pointless to spend $700 on a catback for a stock 305 TBI. Minimal power gains for the price. It's not going to sound that great going through the stock manifolds, either... no matter what you choose.
Use half of your funds on a set of headers and then buy a 3" catback. I'd recommend a set of Hooker 2055s and a Dynomax catback if you are looking for something cheap.
