I have a quick question
I've read the whole backpressure sticky, but it makes my head spin whenever I do. I've always believed backpressure was bad, but someone told me that the more backpressure there is, the louder the exhaust sound will be. I thought that it would be louder because headers would allow for more exhaust to go out the pipe, more exhaust more noise right? Also where do turbochargers fit into all this, if there is more backpressure in an exhaust system, would it be better to have a manifold rather than headers be better for turbos because there would be more pressure in the exhaust system, so wouldn't that mean more pressure for the turbo?
