3 inch exhaust? Help please

Im a little lost here...i want eather borla or GMMG 3in exhaust, which is cat back...so what about the y-pipe? I have a 2.5in headman y-pipe, what does eveyone do that has 3in exhaust, leave the y-pipe and conect it to a 3in high flow cat or is there a 3in y-pipe out there? I have been searching but cant find anything.

I saw flowmaster has a scavenger series y collector that would make the y-pipe into a 3in outlet, could that work if you cut the origional y off the y-pipe and weld this in place?

No.

And you can't buy it separately. 2055HKR is shorty headers & y-pipe.

Exactly what you said, if they want it to flow decently.
