quick question

I have a Hooker Super Comp catback on the way from Summit along with a Catco cat that hooks to the stock Y pipe. Later on, I plan on upgrading to Hooker 2055's. Am I going to need to buy a new cat since the inlet on the one I bought is 2.25" and the y pipe for the headers is 3"? I would imagine putting a reducer in there would bottle it up too much. Its not a huge deal, just buying another cat later kinda hurts the wallet.

I'd buy a new cat. The following Catco high-flow converter is from Summit (CTO-9118) and is a direct fit for the 2055's.

When I caled the Summit tech line the first time to ask which cat I needed, that was the one they recommened. Then I looked on the site and saw it had a 3" inlet. I called them back and spoke with someone else and got the 4116 (or something like that, its 2.25 in and 2.5 out)
