I removed my catalytic converter today and straight piped it. I left the air injection pipe open. Now my car doesn't miss and bog out and die while at idle anymore? My catalytic converter looked fine. See clear through it and the vents look in good shape? Makes no sense? Any ideas what happened?

it was probly clogged up

Im having the exact opposite thing happen.. replaced my cat and now it backfires and bogs down quite a bit.. any ideas??
