hey, new to the exhaust world
hey, i noticed that the headers on my 85 carb'd trans am and the y pipe are all one piece, and they run into a single pipe that runs back to the muffler like most of the third gens... my question is, if i get a set of hooker headers, what do i need to get to run the headers to the pipe that runs to the back?
i would like to get these
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
if i get this,

will i be all set to get my new exhaust going?
thanks alot

Re: hey, new to the exhaust world
honestly ive never heard of headers and a y pipe being all in one..that must be IMPOSSIBLE to change..anyway, if you buy headers and dont have a y pipe you must purchase a y pipe that compliments your headers AND car, (clearence). the set up you selecte is almost perfect for thirdgens, search for the matching y pipe and purchase from summit or check online for one on ebay or TGO. also dont forget to keep in mind that if you have emissions you need to keep the air junk on.
