flowtech raptor

the kragens down the street carries these and also some magnaflow mufflers...i really wanted a flowmaster but i read on here somewhere that they sound like crap on a v6 . I was told that the magnaflow would have me sounding like a tricked out honda. I havent heard anything on the raptors yet...but i was hoping someone on here could help. also these mufflers are all single input/output

btw...my system is stock.

Re: flowtech raptor

(I've got a V6) I'm not sure about the Raptor, but I have a Flowtech Afterburner muffler on my otherwise stock exhaust, and I like the sound I get out of it. For a $70 muffler, it's worth the fun.

Make sure you tell 'em the right size though. I got mine and it had a 3" inlet on it...Not exactly well suited for a stock exhaust on our cars. I got it in though, I didn't wanna go through sending it back. Just used 2 reducers and some banging.

Honestly though, I wish I'd just saved the money and gotten a full cat-back later. I had just gotten the car though (first car) and was antsy about gettin a little customization goin on.

Re: flowtech raptor

I've got a Magnaflow cat-back with a bullet muffler from Texas Speed & Performance

I've been complicated on it's sound, but it's not loud enough for my taste.

A video showing my white GTA leaving a parking spot . I didn't know he was filming...That is the sound of just a gradual pull away, like you would do normally. Barely there.

Re: flowtech raptor

well , i scrapped this whole idea anyway because when i went back they were out of the raptors and i wasnt down for $80 on that magnaflow...so i decided to cherry bomb it . havent done it yet but soon.
