SLP 1.75" shorties to 2210 Longtubes = Quieter?
So I finally fired the car up last night now that the T56 swap is complete. As well as that swap I also ran all new fuel lines under the car, changing the routing of them and swapped from SLP 1.75" shorties & 2.25" y-pipe to Hooker 2210 Longtubes with my own handmade 2.5" y pipe and the car is quieter?? I was amazed how much of a difference there was in the exhaust note. This is with the Flowmaster Force II single 3" cat back, both header systems sans cat.
Has anyone else experienced this? As well as being quieter, which for me was a nice suprise the exhaust note seems to be more tuned, or cleaner sounding. Not so raspy. Still wanna change the muffler out but for now I think I can live with the Flowmaster for once and not totally hate the sound. The flow is another story.

I would have thought the long tubes would have been louder as well. I'm running SLP shorties and they are loud, but I blamed it on the 3" Edelbrock exhaust I installed with them.
