Anyone using Hawk's Longtubes?
Well, I know many of you have no idea who I am, but some of the old timers will remember. Anyway, just wanted to say hello to all of the old school third-genners and newer guys as well.
The car is under the knife AGAIN, and I am going to finish up a few things motor/HP wise. One of these things being a fresh set of LONGTUBES.
I have a Magnaflow setup for an LT1 that I am going to be installing as soon as I find a set of Headers worth a d*mn for my car. I am going to be taking my true duals - side exhaust off, as well as my Hooker 1 5/8 shorties.
SO, is ANYONE using Hawk's new Longtubes? All I am really concerned about is fitment and ground clearance of the Y-pipe.
Anyone have any input?
I am not too excited about the price, but hopefully they are the real deal and will be the last set of headers I buy for this car.
Thanks, Matt

i thought about going the route of Hawks LT's but just couldnt get over the price, so im going with Hooker 2210's... i also noticed that you are using a magnaflow kit for an LT1. this is somethin i plan on doing as well. when you are finished, please let me know what kind of modding you had to do, if any, to make it fit a 3rd gen. thanks, and good luck
