anybody have a set up of duals or single (V8) WITH GLASS PACKS?

IM KINDA TORN here....i have these nice heddman hedders installed but with the 3 inch magnaflow cat and a new 19.00 dollar single outlet jegs muffler....my 350cid. 350HP sounds like a baby (in the womb that is). It has no BARK in its sound.


i need to wake up the exhaust note.

im thinking 2 cats and 2 cherry bomb glasspacks comin off of each hedder.

only the passenger side cat will have the A.I.R tube setup.

Or just redo the y pipe setup and add a cherry bomb next to the drive shaft and y pipe it out to the dual look.


what yall think?

 

I'll take bite to bark any day.

But, why not just replace the $19 muffler? Simple enough, plenty of choices.

(For the record, it's "Hedman". You did get the "hedder" part "right", though. Weird, but that's Hedman for you. )

 

i have 3" duals with 18" glasspacks and hedman hedders, no cats.

 

Here is mine, not exactly glasspacks, but they are chambered mufflers from classicchambered.com

Dual 3" dumped under rear axle, mufflers are the medium length ones, idles around 1000 rpms

deepstage69..........overall how do u like your exhaust sound? my computer speakers suck. they sound like alarm clock radio speakers....so the sound clip was cool.....but the stock computer speakers let me down.

but are u happy with the chambered muffler?

im lookin to do something to the rs quick...
in this order

1.duals
2.chip and injectors
3.tuning
4.full 1500.00 suspension with 18inch irocs (2500.total w. wheel and tire)
5.tbi nitrous.

 

Overall sound is nice and mean, Cruising around isnt too bad highway sucks because of the droning. Most of this is due to it being dumped underneath, I plan on having it run out the rear of the car sometime.

When you step on it these things get loud, but not poppy sounding like glasspacks.

If the weather is nice this weekend, im gonna get some driveby clips and maybe one in the car.
