Re: Edelbrock Cat-Back

from what ive heard it was a good system. it has there edelbrock STD or somehting muffler which is there top of the line, i heard some sound clips/vids with 3rd gens and it seemed pretty good. if i where to have a stock setup i would have went with that system. blowmaster is to harsh and has resonanace. borla is nice but muchoooo $$. get what u can afford.

reading wat it said on summit... im not sure if it a 2.5" catback system or a 3" system with 2.5" polished stainless tips... and i dont remember it being 300+$ ouch

Re: Edelbrock Cat-Back

yeah I know... I'm tossing in a 355 SBC and was going to run Super COmps and custom 3" duals (like my other 3 camaros), but have decided I want to make it appear as stock as possiable, so I will most likely go with the Midlength Doug's Headers/Y-Pipe and then a custom 3" back to a muffler (dont know what brand yet?) and dump it out in the stock location with maybe some Lt1 style tips or maybe just the factory type slash-cuts? The edelbrock kit comes with 2 3/4" mid-pipe to 3" pipe (must be staggered?) then 2.5" exits (which sucks)

Anyone know where to get a 3" inlet, dual 3" exit muffler, flowmaster does not make one I'm aware of, just the 3" in/single 3" out....
