ok so maybe i'm not so smart bout the mechanics and all but.....
what should i do?
i have an 83 firebird,the exhaust has the X pattern setup, i don't really care for it you can see the pipe where it has a bend in it on the passenger side and am thinking i might rip out the X-pat. and run straight duals instead. will this help or hurt the HP? can it even be done? will i need to do anything special to the exhaust system or the car? what should i do guys?

If it aint broke dont fix it. If your only running a V6 in your car theres nothing the exhaust will do to help the performance any way.
