4 Inch Mufflex...muffler differences
I currently have a 4" mufflex exhaust with a flowmaster muffler. On my new build it just resonates something awful, both in and out of the car. Would a Spintech muffler change this sound dramatically? I am debating whether to try that or just swap back to a 3" system.

I personally do not like the y-pipe of the Mufflex system. I am in the process of installing and x pipe where the Y is now and running dual 3" to right before the axle where it will merge into the single 4". I just feel that the merge is too soon and creates an exhaust imbalance.
This is the way I have my Cat converter set up and the overall sound quality is superb.

I also didn't use their y-pipe. I did my own custom one but I did use a spintech muffler. Click the link in my sig to hear.

I'm not using their y-pipe, I have a MAC y-pipe and MAC headers.I also have a cut-out exiting right after the y-pipe and the sound (while obviously too loud and illegal) is far better, and sounds much more like your car, 1FastZ. I think I'll try the Spintech, I really like your sound. Any idea on the part/model # for the Spintech?

If you want it to sound good, go with 3" true duals.
