okay i have a 86 iroc when i bought the car the guy told me he had to take the muffler off because it melted or burned up the fuel pumb. but im goin to put a new exhaust on the car. i was thinking 3 inch cat back. is it goin to be safe for a muffler? or should i leave it out? im kinda thinking that fuel pump was just old but idk now.

also im going for like a full exhaust on a mustang sound/ pitch. what would be my best setup?

Thats the first time I heard of that. I think he was BSing you. A 3 inch setup you be good for you. Check the boards, there are many people who have asked that same question hundreds of times

lol okay sounds good i will look around i was just wondering because he gave me the flow master muffler that was on there so i wasnt sure why he would go threw that trouble if he was bsing
