Open header question
I have the shorty headers on right now and wondering would it hurt if I drove my car about a mile to the shop for welds without the cat back on there. I know it will make a lot of noise, just want to make sure this wont hurt the motor.

Re: Open header question
its fine as long as you dont mine exhaust fumes in your face, loudness, and make sure the hot exhaust gasses dont burn anything (so they arent pointing at anything hopefully)

Re: Open header question
open headers sounds a bit loud. I would have to say that electric exhaust cutouts would be the way to go and install them as close to the headers as possible. You will love scaring all the civics in your neighborhood!
