Need help on how to do true dual exhuast on my 86
hi i was just wondering, how can i swap my crappy fake dual exhaust and exhaust manifolds with headers and true duals............. ive never done anything like this before im new to it i want to get headers and i want to stay legal so im guessing im going to need two cats............... any idea on what i should get and how i should do it its a z28 86 camaro with just the stock exhaust any help is wanted thank you

First, look at the "dual exhaust picture" collection sticky at the top of this forum.
Second, do a

Heres a link to my thread in which I have pics of my 3" duals. I just cut and spliced u bends to make mine. Of course I had some straight 3" pipe too but you get the idea. I would cut a piece and tack it together then again and again. It is very tedious work but the payoff is awsome! Depending on your horsepower goals you probably could get away with 2.5" piping which would be hella easy compared to 3".
