I bought the 2460's for my car and I was looking at getting the y pipe from hooker to go with them since it will bolt right up. My question is since it goes down to 2.5 inches, would that be a lot of flow restriction for my car or not? It is only a 305 TPI and all that the car has done to it is a cam, headers, and im planning on doing a 3 inch cat back soon.

My recommendation would be to return the 2460's and get 2055's, which include a real y-pipe.

Can anybody out there that has the y pipe for the 2460's give any input on it? And at what point does it turn into 2.5 inches?

It's 2 1/2" from the Y back.
