Transmission: Current 700r4 awating T-56
Axle/Gears: stock LSD 3.23s?
what to get suggestions
Ok so i just got a 87 camaro 305, and the people before be didnt take care of it,...everything is plugged,, filter, carb and CATs
anyways im cutting out the cats on wed and i want to know what to replace them with or what to do to make is sound good/ pretty loud
im just going to run it without the CATs until i get something for it

Your two best options are to either cut out the cat section (cut it, you'll never get those bolts off if its the bolt on type) and have a new piece of pipe welded in, or cut off the cat, bash the honeycomb stuff inside out, and put it back on. Either method will give you effectively a straight pipe, but gutting the cat is probably the easiest and cheapest.
