im looking to replace the entire exhaust on my camaro. i plan on using hooker 2460(1 5/8" primary and 3" collector) with the matching y pipe(3" inlet 2 1/2 " outlet). i plan on running a flowmaster american thunder catback. (3" intermediate pipe with dual 3" tailpipes). im trying to keep the exhaust as close to 3" the entire length as possible. heres the problem i can't find a cat with a 2 1/2" inlet with 3" outlet. and that is what i need? can anyone think of a company that offers this? the closest i can find is a 3" in/out or 2.5" in/out which neither will work thanks

What you need are Hooker 2055HKR (comes with the best off-the-shelf y-pipe out there - you want better, talk to Dyno Don) with a Catco 9118 cat.

Those 2460's are one of the worst ways to spend performance $'s.

 

another option is the MAC off road pipe, bolts right up to the 2055 y-pipe and pretty much any 3 inch catback.
