Magnaflow catback
I probably coulda just searched this, so my fault if the info is already out there, but...
I remember there being a thread about the magnaflow catback coming out, and there were some claims of good power gains and I know alot of people where trying to get their hands on one, but after that I havn't heard ANYTHING about it. I was wondering what the final word was? Generally I have heard that hooker and magnaflow make the best flowing mufflers, is this still true in the 3rd gen iteration of the magnaflow catback? Also, does it sound or perform any different then the 4th gen catbacks that were put on 3rd gens (prior to the new 3rd gen specific catback).
Just wondering if there was anymore info/dyno charts/sound clips.
Thanks

Re: Magnaflow catback
Yea I knew it was a good muffler, but i was wondering if the 3rd gen system was the same as the 4th gen system (sound and performance wise), or if there were some benefits or losses.
I had had my heart set on the hooker setup because they made one just for 3rd gens, but now there is a magnaflow for 3rds so I was just wondering what the final word was.

Re: Magnaflow catback
I have a TSP LS1 cat-back, with Magnaflow bullet muffler & tips, on my 87 GTA.
Just get a LS1 cat-back & have the intermediate pipe & hangers reworked.
