SA-WEEEEET!
I have had those stupid doors sitting in my garage for three months, and had them posted on every board I'm a member of regarding these cars. Finally, I am going to be losing at least one of them. So why would I be SO excited about that?
Because the guy is trading me for a MAGNAFLOW exhaust! Brand new Magnaflow stainless complete with tips!!
My question for you guys...is this a direct add-on or will I have to make mods to my exhaust system? He said it's a third-gen setup.
Lord, I'm so excited! I can't help but feel I came out on the better end of this deal!

Re: SA-WEEEEET!
If the Part# is 16829, its the same setup in my sig, and should bolt right on, depending how the end of your cat is.
Does it look exactly like this? http://www.jegs.com/i/Magnaflow/642/16829/10002/-1
If it is i started a thread about it. just scroll bown the exhaust board and look for "Magnaflow 16829 S.S. Cat-Back"

Re: SA-WEEEEET!
Quick question on the 16829 system. I've looked many places and I realize that the kit comes with 3 inch pipe, but what are the actual inlet and outlet dimensions of the muffler. From the pics it looks like the muffler slips in the pipe coming from the cat which would make it smaller than 3 inches. But I could be wrong which is why I am asking.

Re: SA-WEEEEET!
From what I understand, it's a direct bolt-on with no mods, so I think the inlet is 2.5". Either way, it's not going to matter to me. He didn't have a Magnaflow...he had a Dynomax.
So I asked what else he had, and now I'm getting a Flowmaster 40 series. Oh well....not as sa-weet, but still pretty sweet!

i was looking at them too and i notice that there are a lot (6) of clamp connectors. does the darn thing actually bolt together?
i have some hooker 2055's i want to put on these look like a direct bolt up - 3 inch pipes and all.

Re: SA-WEEEEET!
The inlet to the muffler is 3" o.d., or maybe i.d.? The thickness of the metal won't cause restriction that much. The exits are 2.5" IIRC. I have it packed away as to not scratch the polished surfaces. One thing i know for sure is the flange that bolts to the cat is a true 3", i have that out for a muffler shop to make a stainless test pipe.
