catalytic converter
My trans am has a 5.0 tpi. im starting to look around for an exhaust for it. i was wondering if some one could give me the dimensions for the cat. the cat, and exhaust are stock. any input would be appreciated.

Just get a direct-fit cat. By the time you get a universal cat installed in the system, and especially if you have to pay someone to cut, weld, or bend anything, it will cost you more than a direct-fit.

I had a new exhaust put on, with cat all the way back to muffler, and the guy put a universal high-flow on my car. Cost about $200 with labor for the cat and intermediate pipe installed.
