i have had problems with the exhaust on my 82 TA before i bought it there was a crossfire fuel injection set up which the exhaust when into and also the air pump,and the ends of the exhaust were cut and bent so as to not make much noise, well the crossfire is gone and so is the air pump and the exhaust is leaking really really bad. i was looking into replacing the whole thing headers all the way back. the size is 2.25 should i stay with the same size....go 2.50 and what brand should i get, i am not really looking to race, just to drive during the summer. thanks again everyone.

3" all the way back with a hi-flow cat. I think flowmaster makes a nice catback system with the 80 series crossflow. 3" or more is the way to go with our cars since it is a single pipe for a 305+ As for the intake all I can recommend is a carb. because they're alot easier to set up than an entire computer and everything for a tpi, although a tpi will make more power.
