Borla always sounds good. One of the reasons why they sound so good is that the exhaust pipe on the passenger side is straight through with only a metal plate with a few holes in it to block the flow of the exhaust. Then the pipe splits off to the right into a Boral muffler which then goes to the drivers side tailpipe. so you have a single exhaust following the same path as our stock system and after it goes over the rear end it splits into two were half goes unrestrained out the passenger side. Borla does give you some perforated plates that you can screw on between the split and the passenger side exhaust so that you can muffle the sound is much as you want. In case it's too loud you just put one of the other plates in its place and bolt it down and it's going to route some of that exhaust in through the muffler and out the drivers side. Kind of a complicated system but as you can hear in the YouTube video they sound great.

I have one and love it. I installed an electric cutout in place of the metal plates.
