Catalytic Converter

I have a 3" cat that i have no clue about. I have heard they can go for quite a bit at a scrap yard, but since scrap yards are not giving what they used to i thought of just selling it. Does anyone know what a used one is worth? The honeycomb, or whatever its called inside of it rattles around when you shake it, does this mean its junk?

Re: Catalytic Converter

I got one lying around too... I keep it around instead of throwing it out, 'cause I heard they used to go for like $80 bucks or something... Only thing is, like you say, I'm sure they aren't going for that any more, and I have no idea where to take it...
