Re: open cutout video!! :)

dude sounds awesome.i went to two different shops today and both told me that my exhaust cutout is

going to make my car run worse and sound like crap. its a 5.7 350 and i was

gonna put the 3 in cutout about midway down the intermediate pipe. the shop

said it wouldn't have enough back pressure but i thought im just making the

exhaust cutout before the muffler so what the big deal. so what do you think?

bs?

Sounds nice. Is the cutout before the cat?

Re: open cutout video!! :)

Well my setup is far from stock lol its hedman longtubes with a custom y pipe with no cat into a single 3.5 i pipe with the cutout under the rear seat area then it comes out with 3in over the axle into a stock muffler from a 2002 ws6. Yeah that shop is full of crap read around and talk to real racers they will tell you about backpreasure. Im running a straight through design muffler on my yukon and i have no problems. Ill try to get some pics of my system sometime in the next week or so. Ill be pulling it all out to put my new stall in and to add another hanger.
