heelllllp! bungless!

k so im putting a header on my sweet third gen. the header came with down pipe and a race pipe to the resonator. this deletes the cat. however there is no bung for the second o2. would this be a problem for the engine? its the OHV 2200. I do not have to have it inspected.

ohv2200 huh, must be a special conversion

it will be an issue if the computer is still working, you would need to get an o2 sim or something. Or have a bung welded in.

Re: heelllllp! bungless!

not to sure about your situation . but , bungs can be ordered from summits or jegs . or , you can get a nut 18x1.5mm & weld it on . a little grinding & a drill for less than their price . i had to check a dozen places to find one . found mine at a marine nut&bolt place . good luck .

Re: heelllllp! bungless!

I have read that the second o2 in the 99 version of the 2200 is just a warning sensor and not an a/f changing sensor. would installing the header itself warrant a tune though?
