I was wondering which muffler was louder between the Aerochamber and Flowmaster 40's. I have heard alot of good things about Aerochambers as far as sound and performance goes but sound i dont know much about. For Flowmasters i know they are loud so thats why i like those and i dont know which to get please help. thanks

I have an Aerochamber and it was used on my stock LB9. I didn't think it was much louder than stock even with headers and an aftermarket ypipe and cat. I reccomend the 40 Series from what I've heard. At least if sound is your main concern.

And do a side turn-out. Less pipe bends will result in more to muffle the noise.
Or put a cut-out on your exhaust before the cat & be done with it.
